arguably one of the best shows in the history of anime and definitely one of the most popular. one piece holds a very special place in our heart and has captivated the hearts of so many more.

for the last 2 decades we have watched luffy and co. go on one adventure to another and we could not help but fall deeper in love , like millions more across the globe.

having said that there is nothing quite like hearing the opening tunes of our favorite show once again. since one piece has had so many and just seeing them makes our eyes tear up and our blood flow in excitement. 

so as a tribute to this legendary work of art, we present the top 10 best openings of one piece.

10. we are  (op 10)

this was a great opening because it had great music and we got to revisit all the people luffy had already faced, and it also showed the opponents might have to face in the future so it was also a bunch of fun to anticipate the next fights that were about to happen.

9. share the world. (op 11)

watching the saobody arc was great and really heartbreaking because of the awesome new characters that were introduced during the time and also the heartbreaking separation of the straw hat crew. if that wasn't enough the music from this op was just insane.

8. Hikari e  (op 3)

oh the old days when the straw hats recruited robin into their crew, oh how we could relive those days again, now we can't even imagine the crew without her but those were some great times, and the awesome moment when luffy took down crocodile, boy that was the s***.

7. wake up (op 17)

a more recent addition to the list, wake up was such a great song and not only that it was a great opening, with awesome fights and just a very colourful theme, this opening and the Dressrosa arc were just amazing.

6. brand new world.  (op 6)

everybody knows that the denies lobby had some of the greatest moments a show could ever deliver, no opening could justify its awesomeness but this actually did pretty good, and showcased some of the greatest fights.

5. fight together. (op 14)

the opening after the loss of ace was just astounding. as we relive luffs past and how much ace meant to him, our heart breaks, but we can't grieve forever and as we watch ace push luffy forward , we can only get excited for the future as luffy carries on his dream with the memory of his brother.

4. we are (op 1)

the opening that began it all, we can't help but tear up as we relive the first time we watched this legendary show. having no idea that it would become the masterpiece it is today. this opening deserved a special place on this list.

3. Kokoro no chizu  (op 5)

I can't help but love this opening, everything was perfect, the water 7 arc was just a beautiful delight and everyone loved it for the beautiful scenery, the fun theme, the introduction of our favourite cyborg and the epic moments that made it into what is. 

2. hard knock days (op 18)

the music made this opening into what it is, It pumped us up for every fight and we could not help but shake in excitement as we watched the show come on.

1. one day (op 13)

do I even need to say something about this. the feels you get when you watch this opening puts tears in our eyes. the emotion of what was probably the greatest arc in one piece is transmitted through this one opening, as we watched the show not knowing what was going to happen to ace, this opening left us with a hole in our heart. it was truly the best opening.
