The best anime on Netflix


for those of you who don't know, anime is awesome. and today anime is available anywhere. yes even on Netflix. making it incredibly easy for all of you out there to stream all the best anime shows.
but with the vast majority of shows, it is quite hard and confusing the right show. and for many the perfect gateway show is neccessary for them to develop an interest in the genre.
As a result a lot of people never get the right introduction to this genre. and that I believe is a true shame. cause anime is awesome!!!.
so we have compiled a list of the top 10 anime on reflex righ


10. Kill la Kill



A young girl, ryoko matoi,  arrives at a high school of superhumans with a sword in hand, a sword that is actually half of a scissor. the school is run by the powerful student council and its fearful president. matoi searches for the other half of her sword , knowing that the owner of that half is the person that killed her father, when she hears that the president might know of the persons identity, she confronts her but is b ally beaten by their all  powerful 'goku uniforms'. however when matoi receives one of her own, the odds might just turn in her favor.



9. shougeki no soma



Yukihira soma is a young teenage boy who has a great passion and enthusiasm for cooking. wanting to follow in his fathers footsteps. he joins a prestigious academy with the greatest and most talented young chefs in all of Japan. a great shone series with a hint of echi. so if it seems like your piece of cake. you should definitely give this one a try.



8. bleach



Bleach follows the story of Ichigo Kurosaki, a high school boy who gains an immense power and now spends his days fighting evil hollows and purifying souls. quite often regarded as one of the most popular shows in shonen history, bleach is an amazing anime with over 300+ episodes. if you like long arcs and jaw dropping action scenes then this is the show for you.


7. fate/zero



In this breathtaking masterpiece of anime, seven chosen magi and their summoned heroes fight in an epic war to obtain the holy grail, a magical item that can grant any wish. this anime has it all, from awesome action to the beautiful animations. 


6. Magi the labyrinth of magic



This picturistic masterpiece follows the adventures of a young mage. Aladdin has been in isolation his entire life and is hungry of adventure. on his journey he meets up with Alibaba. having destroyed his belongings the two decide to set out together and conquer a magical dungeon. the outcome of which will decide the fate of the world itself


5. Boku no hero academia


Set in a world where humans are born with superman quirks and heroes are commonplace. we follow the story of a young boy, named deku, who was born quirkless yet still wishes to become a hero. an epic encounter with a villain changes his life forever and his dreams just might come true yet.


4. Gurren Lagan


In a post acolyptic future, the world is ruled by an evil tyrant, who has forced humanity to live in underground cities. two kids Simon and kamina, become the symbol of rebellion against him. an anime that has been the gateway to the anime world for so many. this show is brilliant in so many ways and a must watch for anyone who is anyone.


3. One punch man


In a world where monsters run amok, and being a hero is an actual occupation, comes a man who is a hero just for fun, a man who can destroy giant monsters, and world ending meteors with just one punch. what first seems as a goofy action show evolves into one of the most amazing pieces of entertainment. no matter what you may like ,you will love this show.


2. Death Note



A high school student, light yagami, discovers a mysterious notebook that kills anyone whose name is written within its pages. drunk with power and his twisted sense of justice, he embarks on a crusade to end the world of criminals, slowly punishing all those he deems guilty, as jury , judge and executioner.    A show that plays with your mind until the end, this anime is filled with surprises and plot twists that you will never see coming.


1. full metal alchemist brotherhood


Two brothers, Edward and Elric , attempt to revive their mother. however the ritual goes wrong and the two are left in damaged physical forms. as a result they vow to find the philosophers stone to return themselves to their original bodies. even if it means having to join the military. as far as tv is concerned, it does not get better than this. with an awesome story and one of the greatest endings in anime ever. this is the show to watch.

anime industry tops 200 billion

For the first time in its history the revenue of the anime industry in Japan has topped 200 billion yen. with data collected from teikoku databank in a recent survey in 2017 showed that the revenue of the last year had gone up approximately 8.2% to give an annual revenue of 203.7 billion yen. surely an impressive landmark for the industry in its rich history. it is surely  cause for celebration. to top it off the anime industry has been on a fast paced incline for some time now. this year marked the 7th consecutive year in which revenues had gone up. the top production studios are highly concentrated in one place with more than 90% located in Tokyo. on closer look it becomes clear that the majority of the revenue comes from the medium to small sized production studios. production studios that are relatively new and large in number. eve since the dip in 2006 when revenue hit an all time low due to a decrease in dvd sales, the future of the anime industry was unclear, resul...
